What is the C-C two-stage sulfur recovery process?

I recently read reports about the C-C two-stage sulfur recovery process; I want to know what exactly this process entails. There are so many processes available these days that it’s hard to keep track of them.

Reply to 3# yjh-ncpe: The direct oxidation method is a Claus process. The catalytic oxidation reaction is a catalytic oxidation reactor in a two-stage C_C process, which uses a special catalytic oxidation catalyst to oxidize H2S in the off-gases from the Claus reactor into SO2 before releasing them.
