Issues with cable shape

When working on projects in our institute, for instruments or valves powered by 220VAC, we generally use KVVRP 3x2.5 as the power cable； But a couple of days ago, I saw the drawings from another department that listed KVVRP 2x2.5+PE. I would like to ask everyone: do these two notations mean the same thing? The latter is just meant to illustrate that one of the three conductors in a 3-core KVVRP cable serves as the PE wire. If it’s different, does the latter mean that one should buy a 2-core KVVRP cable and purchase a separate PE wire?
It’s the same; KVVRP 2x2.5+PE2 is a more standard notation, as it specifies the color required for the PE wire.
All are powered by a three-wire system, typically using a 220V AC power supply; the 2+PE configuration is more explicit!
The third type has a shielding layer and is 2.5 mm wide; the latter description is more intuitive and professional
