What is the role of N2 blanketing in catalyst regeneration during continuous reforming? It seems there are three valves controlling the amount of N2? What determines the control?

If I’m not mistaken, you’re referring to the nitrogen bubbles that are still forming and those that have been regenerated, right? There are two nitrogen bubbles in total: one is in the rising pipeline and separation hopper of the raw material stage, and the other is in the nitrogen seal tank below the regenerator. The nitrogen bubble related to the raw material stage is subject to complex control with low-level selection, while the nitrogen bubble related to the regeneration stage is under high-level control! You can check the UOP operation manual! Or check the on-site commissioning plan from UOP; it’s written very clearly there!
