Could someone help me understand vacuum units? I heard this term today, but I don’t know much about it. Could someone explain to me what their structure is like and what their performance characteristics are?
A complete vacuum system consisting of a vacuum pump, along with various auxiliary devices designed to work in conjunction with it. There are various types of vacuum pumps, such as reciprocating vacuum pumps, Roots vacuum pumps, claw vacuum pumps, screw vacuum pumps, steam jet pumps, water ring vacuum pumps, water jet pumps, water ring-Roots vacuum pumps, and reciprocating-Roots vacuum pumps. A vacuum unit composed of a water jet pump generally includes: a water jet pump, a buffer tank, a vacuum water tank, a check valve, and pipes, forming an integrated vacuum unit.

Reply to 3# juqinying: It’s not exactly the case; there is a requirement for a vacuum level below 2 KP. A water ring vacuum pump cannot achieve such a low level of vacuum, so a Roots blower or a primary steam jet pump is needed to form a vacuum system
