When using distillation to simulate an absorption tower, an *** error *** appears in Unit 1: ‘t1’ – a product water decant stream is required but is missing on tray 1. Please verify that the selected thermodynamics level is VLVE or VLWE. What is the cause?
In the thermodynamic method you have chosen, you need to remove the column for the precipitated water, and then this problem will not arise. But this is required in water-containing refining simulations (water and oil separate and settle out in the reflux tank)
