Is it important whether work is enjoyable or not? An unpleasant working environment is really frustrating; I really want to leave, but I keep hesitating for one reason or another. Sigh! What should I do (⊙o⊙)?
It depends on what you value more. If your current employer offers you a good salary and you need money urgently, then you should weigh the options
In the short term, financial compensation is still the most important factor in work; if nothing else, one can earn money first and then move to another place； In the long run, a pleasant working environment is the most important thing; after all, money can never be earned in excess, and one’s mood and health are what truly matter.
At the very least, one needs a place to go; I really suffered a lot while farming at home for three months
Feeling unhappy definitely affects work, and poor performance at work leads to even more unhappiness; this vicious cycle only makes things worse and worse.
Feeling that I have the skills needed, or that there’s nothing more to learn, I just leave! If you’re not good enough, endure it! Once you’ve mastered it, withdraw!
Work involves physical effort, and such effort inevitably leads to fatigue and discomfort. There is no job that brings absolute ease and happiness, unless one pursues a life goal of achieving high rewards with minimal effort.
Whether it’s pleasant or not depends on one’s mindset. There is no perfectly perfect job; if you don’t believe that, go and look for one. Adjust your mindset, and if it really isn’t right for you, then leave. What’s there to fear? It’s no big deal. If it is a problem, it will pass in time, haha
