Winter has arrived, and the pressure gauges on pumps are prone to freezing. Trying to use an isolation tank filled with antifreeze in conjunction with these instruments doesn’t yield very good results. But for safety reasons, it’s not possible to remove the pressure gauges. Is there any better solution?
Felt lining, insulation foam. There’s no good solution.

From a safety perspective, electric heating can be considered; however, it is costly. In the long run, using steam heating with rubber hoses is also expensive. The main issue with electric heating is the complexity of wiring it
What other good ways are there to maintain insulation? We can’t possibly add heating elements, right? Using steam to blow on the area when it freezes usually solves the problem.
It’s better to use an isolation fluid. Adding heat tracing is not very standard.
If it’s cold, we keep the tubing warm by blowing steam on it constantly.
It is also important to avoid affecting the pressure of the fluid in the pressure gauge’s wiring; it is best to wrap it with insulating material, using the heat generated by the fluid itself to prevent freezing. This helps to avoid inaccurate pressure readings caused by unnecessary heating.
We really haven’t thought about preventing freezing and condensation of pressure gauges in winter~~~
Here we use antifreeze for filling and also apply insulation, but the results are still not ideal
