During loading and unloading operations at oil depots, tank cars that board trucks or trains must ascend using a movable ladder. But how should the length of this movable ladder be determined during design? Is it sufficient to specify the distance from the edge of the quay to the center line of the railway, or the distance from the edge of the vehicle loading platform to the center line of the vehicle parking space, when placing an order, in order to meet the requirements? Are there any photos of an extension ladder placed on a tank truck during on-site work? You can send it over for a look
