This not only helps to improve professional knowledge but also enhances English skills, achieving two goals at once. For example, if I am involved in welding work for ASME projects, I need to refer to ASME standards and the customer’s technical requirements, etc. At first, I can use bilingual versions (English and Chinese) for reference, but after reading enough, I can do without the Chinese version.
