The Pipeline Valves section is a quite active forum, with a large number of posts posted every day; as a result, some request-for-help posts end up getting overlooked before they receive any responses. When browsing forums, people tend to pay attention only to the posts on the home page and ignore the ones further down. Although the moderators occasionally promote certain topics, the results are not satisfactory. Here, it is recommended that fellow sailors make more use of the “Help Request” category to view requests for assistance and offer help to those in need. Moderators will award high scores as a reward for rating posts that provide assistance. Especially for help requests that receive no responses, reasonable assistance will earn an additional attractive reward! I hope everyone will participate actively and help each other to improve!
I support this proposal. The previous moderator once posted a summary regarding requests that go unanswered or remain unresolved. It is recommended to boost those requests that are meaningful in order to help resolve them. Many users’ requests contain very little information and are too vague. I hope that appropriate hints can be given when assigning points, otherwise, if everyone responds but the answers don’t meet the original poster’s needs, the issue will remain unresolved
