What is the difference between the terms coal-to-oil and coal-to-fuel oil?

There’s no difference; it both refers to the technological process in which coal is used as raw material and oil as the product. I believe that people in the technical field never use the word “transformation”; they simply refer to it as “coal-to-oil”. The term “coal transformed into oil” was probably coined by second-rate journalists and the like.

It’s something that’s become customary. Before I got involved in \"coal-to-oil\" production, both I and the other people in the factory referred to it as \"coal refining,\" with a few calling it \"converting coal into oil.\" After joining this project later on and becoming an insider, it was all referred to as “coal-to-oil”.
I would like to ask the experts: Which companies have the process packages for hydrogenation units in coal-to-oil production?
