May I ask, in the process of producing blended gasoline, various raw materials (benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, MTBE, heavy aromatics, light aromatics, C9C5) are fed into tanks through pipelines from tank trucks; after blending, the mixture is sent out via pipelines again. During this process, some oil vapor evaporates through vents to maintain pressure balance. At our facility, the amount of each raw material fed in ranges from 30 to 90 tons, with an average of around 30 tons. Each oil tank holds 300 tons, and a single oil depot can store up to 1,000 tons of gasoline. The monthly volume is around 5,000 tons. I would like to ask something ; Regarding the use of oil tanks, for example, if there are two tanks and they are filled to their capacity (reaching the limit for use), is another tank then used? If the raw materials for blending gasoline (there are sufficient types of components, but not enough quantity) fail to fill an entire tank, will the gasoline still be blended? Or should the blending be postponed until enough raw materials have been gathered? In typical small private oil depots, does operation begin when both oil tanks are not yet full, or is feeding done based on the capacity of the tanks – with one tank being filled before using the other for blending gasoline? Is there a significant difference between the volatilization rate of an oil tank that is not fully filled and that of a tank that is fully filled (volatilization due to pressure maintained through vents)?
