Why does a motor driven by an inverter make a squealing noise when operating at a frequency other than the full frequency? (The bearings that have just been replaced are definitely fine.)

When a frequency converter is used to drive a motor, the motor emits a squeaking noise, which is particularly noticeable at low frequencies; this is a normal phenomenon. The carrier frequency of the inverter can be increased appropriately to reduce this noise, but if it is too high, the inverter module is prone to overheating or even damage.
