I use a home computer with Deltav’s XP system disk. I installed DELTAV. After installation, I tried to add a new area in Explorer, but it wasn’t possible. The window displayed the message: “Object cannot be created. You must have the configuration key to create a new object.” Please help me resolve this issue; right now, I can’t do anything after the installation
Without dogs, nothing can be done; foreign technological blockades are quite effective. There are two types: experimental dogs and engineering dogs. If you absolutely insist on installing DeltaV yourself to conduct some research, you’ll have to contact their company to purchase an experimental dog
The answer above is correct; DeltaV requires a hardware encryption dongle. If the installation is successful, you can import the database and check out the configuration and such~ Nothing more can be done
It should be possible to add a new area in Explorer; is it a permission issue?
There’s no problem with my addition area, and I don’t have a hardware simulation dog either; however, the version I’m using is 10.3
Reply to 4# Marginalization: Please explain in detail how to set the specific permissions
I feel like I don’t have the necessary permissions; I just don’t know how to proceed
It seems there are options after installation is complete. Select it as a PLUS station, then log in as an administrator; you know the password
Reply to 8#: The marginalization issue has been resolved; it was a permissions problem
Configuration can be done without a dog as well. It seems dogs are only used during debugging simulations
A license is required; we have purchased their simulation software here before. If you don’t debug the configuration, how do you know if it’s correct? The licenses used by their engineering department all have time limits.
