Given that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued on December 1, 2010, the “Implementation Opinions on the ‘Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Stationary Pressure Vessels’”, Appendix 1 to these Implementation Opinions, titled “Relevant Technical Measures”, provides the allowable stress values for various types of steel, as determined based on the safety factors stipulated in the new regulations. To enable SW6 software users to take advantage of the increased material strength permitted by the new code in pressure vessel design, thereby reducing material costs, our team modified the SW6 database using the material strength data provided in the attachment, and released SW6-98 v7.0 based on this. Instructions for using this version of the software are as follows: 1. When installing version 7.0, there is no need to uninstall the older version, SW6-98; in other words, version 7.0 can coexist with other versions of SW6 ; 2. In this version, all material property data are determined in accordance with Attachment 1 in the “Implementation Opinions”. Users can no longer select the allowable stress values determined based on the safety factors stipulated in the old pressure vessel code. If calculations need to be performed using the allowable stress values specified in the old code, programs of versions 5.0 or 6.0 can be utilized ; 3. The material grades available for user selection in version v7.0 are entirely in accordance with Annex 1 of the \"Implementation Guidelines\", but not all of these grades correspond exactly to the B-value curves used for external pressure calculations as given in the current version of GB150. Therefore, when entering data for external pressure calculations, the program will require users to select substitute materials for those materials that cannot be matched with the B-value curves in the current standards. Users may refer to Appendix C of GB24511-2009 or Appendix A of GB713-2008 to determine suitable substitute materials. The upgrade to version 7.0 of this software is charged at the following rates: Standalone version (per encrypted block): 1) Upgrading from version 6.0 to version 7.0: 1,000 yuan per encrypted block ; 2) Upgrade from Version 5.0 to Version 7.0: 2,000 yuan per encryption block ; 3) Upgrading from version 4.0 and earlier to version 7.0: 3,000 yuan per encrypted block. Online version: 1) Upgrade from version 6.0 to version 7.0: 800 yuan per node ; (In other words, the upgrade fee for 5 node users is 4,000 yuan; this applies similarly for other quantities.) ; For users with 10 or more nodes, the upgrade fee is uniformly set at 8,000 yuan ; 2) Upgrade from version 5.0 to version 7.0: 1,600 yuan/node ; (In other words, the upgrade fee for 5 node users is 8,000 yuan; this applies similarly for other quantities.) ; For users with 10 or more nodes, the upgrade fee is uniformly set at 16,000 yuan ; 3) Upgrading from version 4.0 and earlier to version 7.0: 2,000 yuan/node ; (In other words, the upgrade fee for 5 node users is 10,000 yuan; this applies similarly for other quantities.) ; The upgrade fee for users with 10 or more nodes is uniformly set at 20,000 yuan. Users who wish to upgrade can fill in the software number and company name on the order form, make the payment to the bank account specified on the form, and then send a copy of the order form along with the bank receipt to our office by mail or fax at the address below. Once we receive the payment, we will send the software discs to the upgrading user via express delivery. National Technical Center for Chemical Equipment Design, 2010-12-20
They’re asking for money again. Does this SW6 make money through upgrades?
It should be a free service provided by the software; charging in this unlimited manner is not right
I have a cracked version of SW6 V7.0 strength calculation software. Phone: 13963996872
Reply to 4# qdxhlgz: Could you send one? I’m still using version 4.0 currently. Thank you. Email: zhangliang0811@163.com
