I currently have a mixing device with a diameter of 1500, a straight-wall height of 1200, and a conical end cap with a half-apex angle of 30° at the bottom. Scraper-type mixers are installed on both the cylinder wall and the bottom; the rotation speed is 60 rpm. The viscosity of the medium is 1 cp (equivalent to water), and its specific gravity is 1050 kg/m³. Could someone please tell me what mixing power is required?

This seems to be a mixing tank with a capacity of 3000L, equipped with a scraper. In the past, the power requirement was determined based on experience and was set at 5.5KW; if you’re concerned, it’s better to use 7.5KW. If you really need to do the calculations, you can refer to Appendices C and D in HG/T 20569-1994, which deals with mechanically driven mixing equipment.

I guess LZ has already solved this problem; Just regarding this post, I have a question: Why did the original poster use a scraper-type mixer? Scraper-type mixing is generally used in situations where the viscosity is high, heat transfer is difficult, crystallization occurs easily, or there is a tendency for materials to stick to the walls; given these conditions, scraper-type mixing is not recommended!
