Who are the authorities in the membrane field in everyone’s eyes?

Hehe, I’ve read a few articles recently on recent advances in the field of membranes, which mention several domestic experts considered to be the most authoritative figures in this field in China. However, these studies are quite old; over the years that have passed, many new membrane technologies and processes have emerged, as well as a large number of experts. It would be unfair to consider just those few experts from years ago as authorities in the field of membranes (personal opinion). I hope everyone feels free to share their thoughts and talk about the authorities in the membrane technology field in their eyes.

In my opinion, the authorities in the field of membranes are (without any need for reasons): Preparation and characterization of polyolefin membranes (PE, PP): Chen Cuixian, Wang Xiaolin, Li Pingli; Graft modification (hydrophilization) of polypropylene membranes: Xu Zhikang; Membrane distillation: Wu Yonglie, Li Baoan, Lü Xiaolong (PVDF membranes); Liquid membranes: Li Nianzhi; Seawater desalination (reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, multi-effect evaporation, multi-stage flash evaporation): Wang Shichang, Gao Congjie; Removal of ammonia nitrogen using support gas membranes: Qin Yingjie
I’m not familiar with the domestic options; we use foreign membranes.
I’m only aware of membranes from abroad, such as Jeneng, Pamia, McDougal, DuPont, and so on. To be honest, each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. It’s not convenient to recommend it, as it might be perceived as advertising. :lol
