Is it mandatory to have fire dikes and spare accident ammonia tanks in the liquid ammonia storage area, as stated in this sentence? Do large liquid ammonia spheres also require spares? Thank you!
The purpose of installing a backup ammonia tank is to allow the ammonia contained within it to be diverted to the backup tank in case of a leakage in the main equipment.

If it is a horizontal tank, it is best to have a backup tank; if it is a spherical tank, there should be at least two of them. Even without a backup tank, the filling level of the storage tank should be strictly controlled during operation, with a certain amount of headroom reserved for emergency use.
