Problems with fixed-bed equipment

Previously, we used stainless steel 304 or 316L for our fixed-bed systems. Current customers have pointed out that the cost of stainless steel is high, and they would like to use carbon steel with a rubber lining. I would like to ask those who are experienced in this field: what type of rubber is generally used for lining carbon steel, and by how much can the cost be reduced compared to using stainless steel?

The requirement is not high; rubber-lined PO or PTFE can be used
It is not necessarily required to use a rubber lining; at normal temperatures and pressures not exceeding 0.6 MPa, an epoxy resin coating can also be used for media that are typically around 4% hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide, and this option is more cost-effective. You should consult a local professional construction company regarding the price. But it’s definitely cheaper than rubber lining.
Epoxy resin coatings can also be used
