Pipeline heat tracing issue

This post was last edited by li*ch1968 on 18:32, 19-1-2011. Most of the heating in our factory is done using hot water; the pressure in the hot water boilers is 0.3 MPa. The return pipelines leading to the tower (58 m high) were not equipped with heating during the factory’s construction due to concerns regarding insufficient pressure. Since the temperature of the material in these pipes (benzene) is around 140°C, electric heating tapes are not suitable for handling such high temperatures. I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest ways to solve this problem (our factory is located in Xinjiang, where temperatures can drop to -28°C).
At such high temperatures, even hot water is useless; there’s at least a 50-degree temperature difference, so steam is the only option.
When the factory was built, steam boilers were not designed; only hot water boilers were installed, haha

I agree with what was said above; MI heating cables are a special type of electric heat tracing cable that boasts high temperature resistance, as well as a high heating temperature. Long service life, etc.
