The function of the spray tube in the steam saturator

As the title suggests, recently when evaluating equipment requirements, I came across a horizontal steam saturator. It has a long horizontal steam spray pipe connected to the steam outlet, forming an inverted T-shape. I would like to ask fellow experts: what is the function of this spray pipe?
If the schematic diagram of the device, that is, the list of material inlets and outlets, could be shown, it would likely facilitate the analysis.
“A horizontal steam saturator, which features a long horizontal steam spray tube connected to the steam outlet, forming an inverted T shape. . . . A long, horizontal one.....” is not some kind of “steam spray pipe”, but rather a steam collection pipe (or steam gathering pipe); it collects steam while also separating the water droplets carried in that steam, thereby reducing the amount of water in the steam at the outlet.
