What is the role of phosphate substances in the methanol drum?
The purposes of adding trisodium phosphate are: 1. To remove scale and reduce scaling in the steam drum； 2. Improve steam quality.
The purpose of adding phosphates is to react with the remaining calcium and magnesium ions in the feed water to form solid sludge, which is then removed through regular drainage, thereby improving steam quality and preventing scaling in the steam drum and steam system.

To adjust the pH and alkalinity of the waste boiler water, thereby preventing corrosion of the equipment in the water system (including acid corrosion and alkali embrittlement)； 2. Form a protective film (also known as a passivation film) on the metal surface to prevent the metal from being corroded by oxygen and other oxidizing agents ； 3. If you use softened water, it will combine with scale-forming substances, thereby preventing scale formation. However, if you use demineralized water, the anti-scaling function becomes less important.
