I recently encountered a project involving water containing sand, with a concentration of 20%-40%. I’m looking for a flow meter, and I’ve heard that electromagnetic flow meters can be used for this purpose. I would like to know which domestic manufacturers are good at producing such flow meters The price is reasonable.

Using electromagnets really isn’t a good idea.
Personally, I think electromagnetic flowmeters are quite good; at least they are better than orifice plates or target flowmeters. Domestic ones: I used Shanghai Kent for a project I was working on recently. As for other domestic products, I haven’t worked with them, so it’s hard to say. Domestic products are generally of average quality; don’t expect them to be on the same level as foreign ones. As long as they work, that’s fine. Don’t expect too high precision – no matter how well the manufacturers advertise their products, don’t believe it. Chinese people, especially those in sales, tend to exaggerate a lot (it’s not that I’m cynical; it’s just the truth. After all, this society doesn’t value intellectuals enough).
I wonder what the definition of ‘domestically produced’ is? First of all, water containing sand does not indicate what the electrical conductivity of your water is. Secondly, the products made by Emerson in Nanjing have fairly reasonable prices. . You can go and ask. .
Using electromagnets is indeed not a very good method; if the flow rate is sufficient, using a rotor is a good option – all that’s needed is to add a filter

Among domestic brands, Shanghai Kent is well-known; even the top brand, Cologne, cannot be considered imported as it is also produced in China (by Shanghai Guanghua)
The prices of domestic and imported flowmeters are not very different; it mainly comes down to price
Basically, we use those from Cologne for our electromagnetic flow meters.
