Steel-reinforced plastic composite pipes merely serve to reinforce plastic pipes; they cannot achieve the strength of steel pipes. This can be seen by comparing various test data on the mechanical strength of steel-reinforced plastic composite pipes with those of steel pipes.
Is normal pressure available? Temperature resistance is also a problem
The steel-reinforced plastic composite pipe can withstand a maximum pressure of 4 megapascals and temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius; the spacing between supports can be as much as 6 meters. In general, this type of pipe has considerable strength, making it fully suitable for use in chemical process pipelines. It would be even better if it were used underground.
