Can a reducer be made by oneself?
If you have molds, that’s great; if you know how to roll them out as well, that’s fine too. Of course, the products you produce need to meet the requirements
It depends on the situation; generally, media such as circulating water works fine. High temperature, high pressure, and toxicity are not acceptable. It’s okay not to roll it; you can use a tube to draw it out.
Low-pressure versions can be manufactured by rolling seamless steel pipes (by evenly removing a portion of the pipe material along its circumference, depending on the desired length and diameter variation, and then rolling and welding it)
This is quite common in the powder industry; there are also shrimp-shaped elbows, as the system pressure is low or close to atmospheric pressure.
