What causes the high or low exhaust temperature and pressure in the high-pressure cylinder of a screw compressor, and how should it be addressed?
The final exhaust pressure of a screw compressor is related to the piping system downstream of it. If the exhaust pressure remains low, it may be possible to raise it to the normal design operating pressure by manually adjusting the valve on the compressor’s outlet pipe. If the exhaust pressure is high, it is necessary to check whether the pressure in the downstream piping system is normal, as well as whether the bypass line is functioning properly. Additionally, it is important to examine the deviation of the inlet pressure and temperature at the high-pressure stage from the design values
High exhaust temperature: This is usually caused by insufficient water or fuel injection, or it may be due to an obstruction in the exhaust path. High exhaust pressure: This is usually due to backpressure, high intake air temperature, or excessively small rotor clearance.
