In our plant, the pressure gauge at the outlet of the saturator mother liquor pump during the ammonia removal process is constantly clogged by ammonium sulfate crystals. It’s okay in summer, but in winter it gets clogged almost every day. Is there any effective way to eliminate this problem of clogging?
Is a flanged or threaded pressure gauge being used? If a pressure gauge (diaphragm pressure gauge) is installed directly on a flange, this problem also exists; I think a flushing device is necessary in such cases
