Regarding the pressure reduction sleeve for the centrifugal pump chamber

Some of these devices are equipped with large pumps; due to the high operating pressure, the pressure in the sealing chamber is also high. A pressure-reducing sleeve is installed inside the pump cover to reduce the pressure of the fluid that leaks from the pump chamber to the mechanical seal. What does this pressure-reducing sleeve look like? Could you send some pictures of it? What is its working principle? Is it based on throttling?
