The quench water filters in our plant need to be switched over every shift, and the flow rate of quench water is over 300 cubic meters per hour. How can this situation regarding switching be improved?
It can’t be that bad, right, a Texaco gasifier? We switch once a month. There might be an issue with the quality of your water; please check it carefully.
What is the pore size of the filter element? There is also the filter size. Many designs these days enlarge the quench water filter. Also, as mentioned above, check the quality of the return water in the system.
Reply to 1# Sprayer: It seems there is a problem with your graywater treatment system. Adjust the temperature of the graywater entering the sedimentation tank, and ensure that the amounts of flocculants and dispersants used are appropriate. Every time the machine is stopped for maintenance, the filter screens and the chilled water pipes must be thoroughly cleaned. Appropriately increase the amount of water discharged from the carbon scrubber tower into the graywater system
Regularly clean the graywater pipelines, inspect the graywater treatment system, and check the dosage of dispersants and coagulants.
There is no problem-solving; it’s likely that the filter was not selected properly. What type of filter is it? Are there data on medium flow rate and impurity composition?
We use two filters; they operate for about 150 days per burner cycle, without the need for cleaning or switching. The filters should be cleaned once every six months; generally, they are cleaned once a year.
It’s still likely a problem with the quality of the graywater; further treatment of graywater is needed; Even if the filter aperture is enlarged, it cannot be made to match the aperture of the quenching ring; in that case, the purpose of installing the filter is not achieved.
The quench water filter we use also operates with two filters in use simultaneously, and the pore size of the filters is 6 millimeters. To date, no blockages have occurred.
Consider increasing the pore size of the filter screen, or carrying out waste removal online
