There is a safety valve for the atmosphere at the top of the liquefied gas storage tank. Near the outlet elbow of this safety valve, there is a drain pipe, and a horizontal valve is located at the end of this drain pipe. What is the purpose of this drain pipe? ? Can we just create a Tear Space directly? ?
It was also the first time I saw a safety valve outlet with an opening, along with a valve that needed to be installed. In the projects I’ve worked on, the outlet simply had a small hole made in it, which led to leaks
If it is the outlet of a safety valve, a tear hole will suffice completely; there is no need to use backflow prevention
