In the collectors of sulfur recovery condensers, some are equipped with liquid sulfur downcomers, whose main function is to facilitate the flow of liquid sulfur downward in order to reduce the pressure difference within the collector. Please discuss its working principle; it would be great if you could include diagrams to illustrate it!
I’ve learned a lot; most collectors have a liquid flow discharge pipe, but I’ve never heard of a liquid dropping pipe. If anyone who knows about this can give some information, that would be great
