Hart standard level gauge

Hello everyone, I’m a newcomer to the instrumentation industry. Yesterday I encountered a problem: some level gauges of the same model support HART communication, while others cannot be connected using this protocol. There are also E+H flow meters whose manuals state that they support HART communication, but they still cannot be connected in the field or from the control room. . . . . . I seek guidance from the seniors. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The load resistance required for HART communication devices is around 230–500Ω; it’s possible that the load resistance of your device exceeds this range. You can try connecting a 250Ω resistor in parallel or in series with the instrument’s terminals to see if that helps；
Another reason could be that the HART chip is damaged, or the device doesn’t have a HART function at all
If it is powered by DCS, consider using another power source to see if that works
