The meaning of the material specifications for 90-degree elbows

A420Gr.WPL is a low-temperature steel pipe. Its specifications are DN450(S)Sch40; DN450 indicates that the nominal diameter is 450. As for (S), it’s not clear what it means – if it’s a metric pipe, it should be (B). Sch40 denotes the wall thickness grade of the pipe
