I installed a charring system and injected corrosion inhibitors at the inlet of the flue gas charring cooler. After one year, it was found that the area where the corrosion inhibitors were injected had suffered severe corrosion. How can this problem of localized corrosion caused by the corrosion inhibitors be solved? ? ? ? ?
Corrosion inhibitors themselves have a corrosive effect; it’s possible that the ratio in which you added them is incorrect. Reducing the amount of corrosion inhibitor used might yield better results.
