What are the differences in the uses of instrument air and plant air in terms of composition? What is the pressure usually like!
Instrument compressed air is used for pneumatic instruments; it is generally applied to the actuators of pneumatic valves. Specific requirements depend on the standards: water removal, oil removal, dust removal, pressure stability, low temperature levels are required, and a gas storage tank is needed for buffering and as a backup. There are generally not such high requirements for the air used in the device. The design requirements for instrument air supply are outlined in the relevant regulations as well as the design standards for instrument air supply in petrochemical enterprises
The requirements for dew point are different; everything else is similar, as the gases are all produced by the same machine
