I remember that the slag port for Texaco is usually 535 (this might be incorrect); why isn’t it 635 or higher? Would a larger size help prevent the slag port from getting clogged? I would appreciate expert advice.
It seems there are more of the 838 model, but there are also some 737 models. This size is limited by the diameter of the gasification furnace, so it probably can’t be increased arbitrarily. To solve the problem of slag blockage, it still depends on operation and the slag breaker, right?

Our furnace is 838 mm in size; larger furnaces are indeed much better than smaller ones, as the slag outlet isn’t as prone to getting clogged.
There should be requirements for the design of the slag outlet; otherwise, you might as well do without one ? In my opinion, the design of the slag outlet should take two aspects into consideration: 1, ensuring that the coal within the combustion chamber undergoes the combustion reaction for a certain period of time (around 7 seconds or so), which is a requirement of the reaction process ; 2. Due to the design of the downcomer and upcomer, in order to create an appropriate air flow channel, it is necessary to limit the size of the slag outlet so as to ensure smooth entry of air into the quenching water as well as its smooth exit; this aspect must be taken into consideration, right? Other factors such as slag, the effectiveness of quenching water washing, and the thickness of the water film in the downcomer may also need to be taken into consideration.
