One should not switch jobs blindly just because the salary is high. It is recommended to plan your career carefully.
In my opinion, one of the following points is for reference only: First, the current position offers no challenges; I am highly competent for it, but there will be no opportunities for growth in the future – I’ll just end up doing nothing but waiting for death; Second, there are better positions that can help promote one’s development, and they are also things one enjoys doing. Thirdly, the future job should be within one’s area of expertise, something that can be handled with ease, and for which one is already prepared to take on the role right away ; Fourth, working in the current position is a source of suffering and pain; after such a long time, it’s simply unbearable. Even if the worst outcome occurs, it won’t be worse than it is now.
