For a 2-ton steam boiler, is coal or natural gas better? What are the costs?
Including operating costs and so on, I would appreciate it if experts could share their opinions
In terms of cost-effectiveness, coal boilers are certainly the better choice; in terms of convenience, gas stoves are obviously superior. The decision should be based on your coal prices and availability, as well as the price of natural gas and the level of supply constraints.
It is necessary to conduct a comprehensive comparison between coal-fired boilers and gas burners based on the local conditions; it’s not possible to simply state which one is better. If the furnace is small, it usually uses gas; if it’s large, it’s a coal boiler.
The operating cost of coal as a fuel should be lower. Moreover, there are many mechanical components involved, which leads to more minor problems; as a result, it’s not as convenient to use as gas furnaces
