Today I worked on the misting steam valve for the torch. It’s located on a slope about 20 meters high; the air coming from the instrument air buffer tank at the bottom of the slope feeds an 800-series cylinder valve there, while there’s another valve on the top of the slope. In total, there are two valves. However, the cylinder associated with the valve at the bottom of the slope kept leaking water, and the valve on the top of the slope was also filled with water. To drain the water from the valve on the top, I first removed a lot of water, after which the amount of water decreased but the flow of air became very weak. Finally, I went to the bottom of the slope to empty the air from the larger valve; it took around 4 minutes to remove all the water before things returned to normal on the top. I was wondering: when the drain valve below the buffer tank is opened, only air comes out, no water at all. So where does the water come from?
The instrument air is not properly dried; in the buffer tank, the temperature has not dropped much yet, so the water vapor in the instrument air does not condense. However, in the subsequent pipes, as the temperature of the instrument air drops, the water vapor there condenses, resulting in water being discharged from the instrument air.
Reply to 1# awngai*a: Add a refrigerated dryer or pneumatic two-piece unit to the controller, and simply drain water regularly.

The origin is not dry, which is common in winter; it is recommended to add a drying system
