Low methane levels, methanol spraying, fluctuations

Recently, the flow rate of methanol used for spraying in the low-temperature methanol washing unit in our section has been showing increasing fluctuations. We have had the instrumentation technicians fix it several times, and they said that the medium is too dirty. What consequences might this have, and how should it be dealt with?

Check the filter, verify the instruments as well, and inspect whether there are any issues with the valves!
Clean the filter more often to ensure the purity of methanol. Also, may I ask where your flow orifice plates are located? Here, ours are installed after the filter. The pressure tap is generally not blocked. It is recommended that you clean the filter used for spraying methanol, and also check whether the filter element is damaged
Reply to 4# z880347730: Our flow orifice plates are also placed after the filter; I think it’s a problem with the filter, as things improve every time the instrument technician performs cleaning.
