The technical solutions they proposed varied significantly; for example, the diameter of the silencer at the outlet of the main fan is DN1100, but some manufacturers suggested a cylinder diameter of 1520, while others suggested 2250. The differences are quite large. How should we choose the cylinder diameter? Are there any relevant materials? Thank you all for your answers! ! !

The current exhaust silencers are now produced in series. Furthermore, diameter is not the only factor that affects the noise reduction performance of a silencer; it’s possible that the designs of both manufacturers can meet the noise reduction requirements.
Pipes can have their diameter changed; I have installed several of them, and they can also be designed and manufactured according to your requirements – it’s not a complicated task.
The goal is to achieve the desired level of gas dissipation and noise reduction; this can be verified at the time of delivery!
When it comes to the design and selection of silencers, each manufacturer has its own unique approaches, and the methods chosen vary from one manufacturer to another: throttling to reduce pressure, orifice injection, flow stabilization through holes to lower speed, as well as sound absorption using acoustic foam, among others. As a result, the size of the silencers designed by different manufacturers also varies
