The number of employees isn’t that important; it depends on how you manage those people. If managed well, one person can be equivalent to ten; if not, even a hundred won’t suffice. Although the number of employees is important, what’s more crucial is the skill in leadership
I think the main thing is to see how many measurement points there are and how many control valves there are. In our factory, there are roughly over a thousand various testing points, more than 150 control valves, and 12 qualified instrument technicians. Of course, it seems like there’s not much work for instrument technicians on a regular basis; but when actual work arises, it’s not guaranteed that there will be enough people available! If everyone can handle the tasks, then fewer people are needed; but if there are people with connections or those who aren’t capable of doing the work, then more people are required. It depends on the actual situation!
Hehe, the factory is trying to cut staff now. There are around 10,000 instruments in our factory, and we’re already swamped with work. We’re looking for an official document that would allow us to hire more people. If anyone has such a document, please share it with us. Thank you! ! !
When factories are designed, the workforce capacity is determined in advance. The power industry generally has a similar standard for such capacities, while it’s less clear in the petrochemical industry

Even small companies manage to get by without any staff at all; for slightly larger ones, it’s not much different. There’s no detailed requirement regarding how many people are needed, and even if there were, it would be difficult to find enough personnel.
