Separator Methanol Loss

Our plant uses Linde’s low-temperature methanol wash unit. There is no separator installed at the outlet of the purified gas after Tower T01; the temperature of the feed gas entering the tower is -20°C, while the temperature of the gas exiting the tower is -40°C. Could methanol be carried out of the system? Is there any significant loss as a result? What are the influencing factors?
There’s a demister at the top of the tower; in this case, the loss is generally minimal! You can figure this out by analyzing the methanol content in the tower gas; it’s very little!
