I remember reading somewhere that the ammonia flowing from the evaporative condenser of the chiller into the liquid ammonia storage tank is not in liquid form, but rather in a misty state. There is also a throttle valve installed in the pipeline leading to the liquid ammonia storage tank. The ammonia that goes from the storage tank to the evaporator is still not in liquid form, and it seems that another valve is present there as well. I would appreciate detailed guidance from those who are experts in this field

The evaporative condenser simply replaces the traditional vertical cooler; it works much better than the latter, but its basic functioning remains unchanged.

There is a throttle valve in the pipeline leading to the liquid ammonia storage tank; it’s not a true throttle valve but rather a regular valve used for isolation purposes to facilitate maintenance. There is only one throttle valve located at the point where ammonia enters the evaporator – through throttling and expansion, the ammonia absorbs heat in the heat exchanger and turns into gaseous ammonia, which is then compressed by a compressor and condensed back into liquid ammonia in the evaporation cooler. Complete the cycle of throttling – expansion and heat absorption – compression – cooling and condensation.
I agree with what the two people above said; what comes out of the evaporative condenser is liquid ammonia, not ammonia in fog form.
