Development direction of the tar processing project: Atmospheric distillation yesterday； Negative pressure refining today ； Hydrofining tomorrow.

In the current market conditions, there are few opportunities to make profits from the deep processing of downstream tar products, and even when profits are possible, they come from products with relatively low yields. After hydrogenation and refining of tar, it follows the path of petrochemical development, progressing along with the development of downstream petrochemical products
The scale of coal tar processing is no longer a problem; the focus should be on extending the industrial chain and developing downstream products. However, it is important not to adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, and instead establish coal tar deep-processing enterprises with distinct characteristics in different regions.
Carry out centralized processing of coal tar fractions; for example, one company can handle the centralized processing of phenols, another can focus on the processing of anthracene, and yet another can specialize in the processing of washed oil, thereby developing distinct strengths.
No matter how development processes evolve, for a company to grow it must improve upon its existing foundation, and such improvement is often difficult to achieve, as many problems or effective solutions are simply unknown
Personally, I think: if there’s no solution for what to do with the asphalt, selling tar is the most profitable option, haha!
