In the liquefied gas hydrogen sulfide removal tower, how do the amine solution and liquefied gas come into contact? ? Can an amine stripping floating valve column be used?
The projects I’ve worked on before used packed towers; I personally think plate towers are also a viable option. In packed towers, the gas and liquid phases come into contact in counterflow, while in plate towers they come into contact in cross-flow. What’s important is achieving the desulfurization effect.
In the liquefied gas hydrogen sulfide removal tower, the amine solution and liquefied gas come into countercurrent contact within the tower. The amine solution comes from the top of the tower and contacts the liquefied gas moving upward from the bottom of the tower in counterflow, absorbing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from the liquefied gas. As for the tower, either a floating valve tray or a packed tower can be used.
Is it possible to install a separate liquefied gas desulfurization tower at the liquefied gas station? How much energy is consumed?
Our unit uses a plate tower with 13 trays. Poor-amine liquid from top to bottom, liquefied gas from bottom to top. The two come into contact in reverse order to absorb hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from the liquid hydrocarbons. MDEA concentration 30% (W%)
Ammonia liquid is injected at the top of the tower and sprayed through a distributor, where it comes into counterflow contact with the liquefied gas flowing from bottom to top. Used to remove hydrogen sulfide from liquefied gas.
Reply to 5# sdhgxdl: As long as the pressure of the liquefied gas at the station is sufficient, it’s fine; high pressure and low temperature are conducive to desulfurization. Generally 1.4-1.7Mpa. Otherwise, adding a compressor would not be worthwhile.
What does liquefied gas-liquid liquid extraction desulfurization mean? Is the liquefied gas you’re talking about also in a liquid state?
Pressure has little impact on liquid-liquid desulfurization; what really matters is the adsorption efficiency of the amine solution! Plate towers and floating valve towers have similar performance.
