What is the investment cost for a 10,000 Nm3/h coal-to-hydrogen plant? What is the approximate floor area? These figures are based on the entire setup. I’ve contacted two companies that specialize in technology transfer recently; one asked for 90 million, while the other asked for 100 million. Has anyone in the forum installed this device? How much is the investment roughly? I hope all experts will be kind enough to share their insights! It’s best to be relatively practical.
Too professional! Is this kind of question also brought up for discussion?
This depends on the scope of the projects included in your coal-to-hydrogen plant – the technologies selected for gasification, shift, and PSA? Is it included in the air separation? Are the supporting facilities and utility systems in place? What are the local prices for water, electricity, gas, and wind? These are all important factors to consider in project investment.
If it is an Ende powder gasifier, 50 million is required
The water is from deep wells on the factory’s own premises; the industrial electricity rate is 1 yuan per kilowatt-hour, and the steam is produced by boilers installed on site. All of these factors are not taken into consideration. What is primarily of interest now is the cost of an entire coal-to-hydrogen production plant, including processes such as gasification, shift reaction, and air separation; in other words, it refers to the investment required for the whole system, starting from the raw coal (powdered coal is preferred, but anthracite can also be used) all the way to the final hydrogen product with a purity of over 99.99%. Does the Endu powder gasifier cost 50 million? Does the entire setup cost 50 million? So the main equipment still costs 50 million?
I hope those with more experience can offer some advice. Thank you!
The entire set of equipment for the Ende powder gasifier costs 50 million.
The Endu powder gasifier requires 50 million in funding.
Thank you! Is the total investment in the Ende powder gasifier 50 million?
I contacted a design firm specializing in coal-based hydrogen production today; the investment for a capacity of 8,000 Nm3/h is 50 million yuan. I’m not sure if this approach is reliable
