We are considering using space furnace gasification technology for the gasification process; two gasifiers are planned for this purpose. The units for shift reaction, low-temperature methanol washing for desulfurization and decarbonization, the Claus process for sulfur recovery, an air separation unit with a capacity of 60,000 NM3/h, compression systems, and the synthesis process at 15 MPa will all be designed for a capacity of 600,000 tons per year. Is there anyone among those who are familiar with this area who can help provide a rough estimate of the investment costs, as well as the consumption rates per ton of ammonia? This includes coal consumption, electricity consumption, steam consumption, demineralized water consumption, methanol consumption, and circulating water consumption. It is estimated to be around 2.5 billion yuan; if space furnaces are used, it will enable Beijing Aerospace Wanyuan to carry out a rough investment estimate and cost analysis. I ask, for which project is the space furnace gasification process being used, and what type of coal is it?
This requirement is almost ready for a feasibility study. When working for an engineering design institute, one has to charge at least several hundred thousand RMB, haha.
For 600,000 tons of methanol, what capacity should the space furnace have? The backup furnace also needs to be taken into consideration.

For space furnaces used in ammonia synthesis, what kind of coal do you use? It doesn’t seem very reasonable
There should be no backup furnace; it’s a furnace of around 1,500 tons
What’s the reason? There’s no problem using a space furnace to produce syngas, right?
