Sorry, there was a mistake; it should be **intensity**
Just step on me then; I don’t know why the characters for \"dizheng\" give errors as soon as they’re typed
I think “B” is the correct answer^_^

The “Code for Seismic Design of Buildings” (GB50011-2010) specifies clearly: “Article 1.0.2 Buildings in areas with a seismic design intensity of 6 degrees or higher must be designed to withstand earthquakes (this is a mandatory provision).” Article 1.0.3....... For buildings in areas with an earthquake resistance design intensity greater than 9 degrees, as well as industrial buildings with special requirements in certain industries, their seismic design shall be carried out in accordance with relevant specific regulations. ” Those upstairs probably haven’t read the code against seismic hazards; I recommend finding some professional materials to take a look at. Furthermore, detailed information on earthquakes and earthquake resistance can be found in the book \"Seismic Engineering\" written by Academician Hu Yuxian.
Reply to 4# siena2008: It’s extremely important for engineers to be meticulous; one certainly can’t rely on guessing when it comes to revisions! :P
Reply to 7# moqichangqing: I’ve just started in this field and am not sure if I’m capable of managing a forum; I’d like to upgrade first and deal with that later!
Personally, I think D should be chosen; there is no value of 10 degrees in the seismic code

Reply 9# phlyman: In GB 50011-2010, clause 1.0.3 states: “........For buildings in areas with an earthquake resistance intensity greater than 9 degrees, as well as industrial buildings with special requirements in certain industries, their seismic design shall be carried out in accordance with relevant specific regulations.” ” At the same time, each regulation should also be understood in conjunction with the explanatory provisions in Chapter 1 of the seismic code. To gain a comprehensive understanding of seismic fortification, it is recommended to read the works by Academician Hu that I recommend.
