There is one set of pressure transmitters, and the digital display instrument communicates with KingView on the computer via an RS232 converter. Now I need to buy another set of pressure transmitters, and the digital display instrument will need to be connected to the computer as well – do I need to purchase another RS232 converter for this connection?
Transmitters are generally referred to as primary field instruments, while those with digital display outputs are called secondary transmission instruments. The computers you are referring to should be PLC control systems or DCS systems. To realize your idea, it is necessary to add a set of transmitters, a secondary transduction instrument, and the “computer” system also needs to be configured. If on-site display is not considered, the secondary transmitter instrument can also be omitted.

Simple. Simply connect the RS485 of the second digital display to that of the first digital display, and then read the addresses separately.

I’ve never used KingView, but RS485 supports multi-point communication; your digital display can definitely have separate communication addresses set for it, and there are corresponding settings available in the configuration software as well

The communication address can be set on the digital display meters; it should not be the same for the two meters. Connect the 485 communication wires together, and then it will be possible to read the data from both digital display meters using KingView
